Settled transaction identity changes

Stable IDs and the historical completeness exception

Modern settled transaction IDs now use processor business keys. Corrections that retain those keys retain the same transaction_id. At rollout, rebuild your settled cache for dates from 2025-06-01 once: these IDs replace the content-derived values introduced on October 6, 2026. Authorization IDs and transaction IDs before June 1, 2025 keep their existing recipes.

Historical completeness exception

Thirty settled TSYS source rows for one merchant on 2025-08-21 are excluded because the original processor file reuses transaction identifiers for different transactions. Both rows in each of 15 conflicting pairs are omitted.

Detail lists, counts and daily totals for that merchant/date therefore have a known completeness gap. Other dates and merchants are unaffected. The raw records are retained, and any new collision still blocks warehouse publication. Contact support if you need to reconcile that historical date; do not infer that the excluded transactions were voided or reversed.
